BOOM, and my favorite Mancini brother is Dominic. And I was not expecting that AT.ALL! But in true fashion, you always save the best for last.
Wild Steamy Hook-Up
exceeded every single one of my expectations. We’ve been teased from the very beginning about some mystery girl that Dom kept seeing and it was always on the back of mind, just wondering who the heck she was. And now that we know, cue all the emotions because I knew we were going to go on a crazy ride.
Val and Dom have a long and complicated history, mistakes were made, too many missed moments have brought them to this very day. A night in Vegas, drunkenly … married.
Throughout the entire book you’ll constantly get these sad and angsty undertones during their conversations. And it seriously just breaks your heart every time. Dom was not what I expected at all, my heart broke for the man that just wears his heart on his sleeve. And no idea why Val couldn’t see that.
I was very much Team Dom especially after getting to know Val a bit more. As far as the heroines go, she doesn’t rank as my highest, but there was no doubt that I was rooting for these two to finally get their sh*t together.
But by the end, I was just over the moon that we finally get the happily ever after we’ve been waiting for!
All the stars for this series and book, Piper Rayne are hands down my favorite writing duo!
