Now that I finally got my reading streak back this month, I owe a huge thank you to the few Webtoons that I’ve been obsessing over. Before I jump into my favorites, I am sooooooo glad that I got into web comics this year. With being a visual person, I’ve been loving some that I found and ones that have been recommended to me. Since this year has been absolute chaos and everything is in turmoil, my reading took a huge hit and I just couldn’t focus on it at all. During that time, I fell into the vortex of web comics and I’m in love. The oneeee thing I struggle with is waiting every week for updates, it drives me crazy because I’m so impatient.
The ones I’m about to share, I’ve been super satisfied with every episode.

5. Phase – Jouki

Phase is one that I just started this week and I’m a bit obsessed with this enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity romance story. If you’re not a fast passer, there’s 9 episodes up and it updates every Wednesday. I love a good enemies to lovers and it pulled me with the force proximity. The story has been amazing so far and the art is stunning!
4. Freaking Romance – Snailords

A sexy supernatural story about being out on your own, finding your dream apartment and discovering that your new place is haunted by a handsome spectral stranger from another dimension. Sure, HE can’t see you and YOU can’t touch him, but who said every relationship starts out perfectly?
The artwork drew me in instantly and then everything else fell into place. This story has been soooo unique, but mannnnnn, just about every episode (recently) has been a major cliffhanger. Seeeee, that’s why I struggle with webtoons. But I’m addicted to this story and characters. There’s 66 episodes up already and that’s perfect binge reading material.
3. My Dear Cold-Blooded King – lifelight

Uhmmmmmm, just yes to this one! From the characters especially Ryu (he’s a riot) and all the dang adventures they go on. There’s always something happening and your heart is literally racing every time. And my goodness, the tension is overwhelming in the best way! This one updates every Sunday and there’s 143 episodes up. AND the creator has mentioned that this series will be wrapping up in December, I’m so excited!
2. SubZero – Junepurrr

After werewolves, dragon shifters are my favorite to read about. And look at this, SubZero was a toon that just had my name written all over it. It’s an enemies-to-lovers and arranged marriage. There’s sooooo much working against these two and it has definitely taken a lot of time for them to be on the same page. With the recent episodes, we’re just soooooo close to hopefully some fun times 😉 It’s been teased for a couple of weeks, their chemistry is all there and the tension is … pheww, get a fan. There’s only 81 episodes up and updates every Monday.

My #1 obsession is Midnight Poppy Land and it’s all because the adorable duo that is Poppy and Tora. I know when you think mafia romance, adorable is not a word that comes to mind. But seriously these two are just that. Poppy is sooo innocent, but she’s feisty AF and Tora is pretty much in love with that. The past few episodes have been leaving me teary-eyed and I’m just waiting for some truths to come out … especially about feelings. I’m hoping that’ll happen in the next week or two.
And there you have it! These Webtoons are my absolute fave and I can’t recommend them enough.
I’m sure many are wondering why Lore Olympus isn’t up here, I do love that webtoon, but I’m going to hold off until that series is complete to read.
