Review

The Sixth Street Band series is one that gets better with every book. With Down to You being the first book that I read from this series, falling in love with Logan was easy. I honestly thought that no one would be able to top that and in walks Miles. Jayne brought us two characters whose journeys we had to go on because these two needed to heal. And although it was heartbreaking at times, they are absolutely perfect for one another.

That prologue had me crying almost instantly. I was a blubbering mess and wasn’t quite sure if I was mentally prepared for Miles and Gelsey’s story. And can I just tell you how much that I love her name, it’s so different and I’m a fan!

Their first encounters with each other is memorable, Gelsey doesn’t make it easy for him. And I couldn’t help but chuckle about it. But once he gets past those barriers, it’s just amazing to see these two together.

With loss and pain, there comes hope and healing, but most of all, love. Miles and Gelsey came into each other’s lives just at the right time. To truly heal, they need each other more than anything. I loved watching both characters grow throughout the entire story.

As I read each book by Jayne, I can’t help but completely fall in love with her work. This book and series is one I highly recommend!
