2018 has treated me so well with all the new authors that I’ve discovered. And I can only hope that 2019 will bring me more new authors to read from.
My fellow bookish friend over at is hosting a December challenge featuring ! It has been tough try to plan ahead for these posts because it is so tough to narrow all of lists to ONLY 10, it’s damn right near impossible. But I did the best that I could and can’t wait to share with all of you until the end of the year
Today’s prompt is New to Me Authors.

How have I never read anything by Emma Scott until this past year?! The Beautiful Hearts Duet was what had me loving every single word she puts down on a page. If you read this duet and know the why’s of the reason she wrote these books, you can’t help but curl up into a ball and be a blubbering mess. I can’t recommend this author and duet enough, it’s an absolutely heart-wrenching and emotional story. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of her books.

I don’t read forbidden romances very often and learned that I really have no problem with age gaps … unless they’re under age, not that I ever would or have read them. Anyways, Shanora is the QUEEN of forbidden romances and you’ll just love the Cane series!
