Are you tired of me talking about this book? Well too darn bad, I’m obsessed with this author and all her books, that I’ve read so far! Dommiel, this beautiful anti-hero, I guess you could say, since he’s a demon and at all. I loved how his darker side made him downright sexy and alluring. There is SOOOO much more to his character and you’ll constantly be wanting to learn about everything little thing he has to offer. But he’s got a softer side meant for only one person and we all know how much I love it when someone can bring a man to their knees.

As far as MZ’s characters, Luna is one of my faves. I can’t say this was my favorite MZ book, I still enjoyed it all the same. All of MZ’s heroines portray some sort of ferocity, but Luna takes to a whole level with her badassery. She’s someone you absolutely do not want on your bad side, she has a lot of bark and will bite when necessary. And I loved every moment of it!

I don’t know what exactly what drew me to Kip, but I loved him instantly. Of course has my favorite sport going for him, but there’s so much more to this bearded brute that everyone will be fascinated with. I found his internal dialogue especially when it came to Teddy to be so damn interesting. He’s always straight to the point with Teddy and he easily coax her out of her shell in the best way possible. If you’re ever wondering about Sara Ney or even her awesome characters, start with this series! Love all her books to pieces.

I have been absolutely loving Staci Hart’s newest releases, not for the romance, but because of her heroines. Val from Player totally made this book for me! She’s a character we can all relate to. She was just so pure and had a heart of gold. She was fierce and a badass, but also had her own insecurities. And that easily made her someone we can all understand on a deeper level.

When it comes to the Misadventures series, Misadventures With a Manny is my absolute favorite! Of course, I loved the hero and heroine, but Lincoln convinced me so easily to fall in love with his character. I really enjoyed seeing him fight his feeling for his boss and seeing a bit of his vulnerable side. And just having a little bit of an age gap (a SMALL one), falling for a newly divorced woman with kids, he hasn’t even been married or had kids. Lincoln was just pure perfection, but I absolutely loved how he swooped in and became a sort of parent figure to the heroine’s kids. AND, he treats the heroine like every woman should be treated.

I don’t even know where to start about Joe, he’s just one of those characters where it’s hard for me to explain why I loved him so much. Soooooo, I think you take a chance and dive into But First, Coffee. Not only did it have me fall in love with the characters, but the author as well. There was just something about Joe that drew me to him instantly.

I bet you’re surprised that I put a character from a YA that I read this year, well expect the unexpected because here comes Kylene Danners! She’s a bit of a spitfire-badass, zero shit-taking kind of heroine that I absolutely loved. She’s so damn fearless and determined to go any length to find out the truth. I know YA isn’t for everything, but I can’t recommend this one, enough!

Now that I’m finally making my way through this series, I’m getting glimpses of the backstory of Tori and Logan. Down to You was the first book that I ready by Jayne Frost and she completely won me over with this! Tori was a character that I completely admired and loved so much. In this story for the past six years, she’s not only recovering from the physical wounds of something to tragic, but emotional ones as well. Her soul was shattered and she wasn’t sure if she’d heal and be happy again. Despite everything that she has faced, she was able to find love again!

1,001 Dark Nights have been KILLING me with their novellas. Once I knew the Jennifer L. Armentrout had one coming out for the Wicked series, I absolutely couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. And for months I knew it was about the Prince, who becoming acquainted with in Wicked, Torn, and Brave. I’ll be honest, I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with him, but there was something about him that I couldn’t completely hate him for. I just knew there had to be more to him. And he’s almost giving my favorite JLA hero a run for his money, Aiden. Even after finishing this novella, he’s still a bit of a mystery and yes, he’s getting his own series. I’m dying for the rest of the books because I need to know EVERYTHING!

Tara

Tara was the highlight for me in this one! I found it so hilarious that she’d just roll up into his hotels and pretend to be a guest. I loved that she never took any sh*t from Preston and always gave it right back to him. Because truth be told, he has had one too many assistathat never stayed past a month. It didn’t matter if he was the hot CEO or not, she wasn’t scared of him. She was amazing at her job, so it would be a big loss for him to let her go. If anything, he had more to lose than she did. But only one person can handle so much push, everyone has their limits and eventually Tara got there.
