This will be my last post for the Top 10 of 2018, I decided to not share the books I’m looking forward to in 2019. That list is extensive and not complete, so I don’t even know where to start. And it’s always a bit stressful for me to make lists like that. I hope you enjoyed my little wrap-up for the year and hope you all have the best year of reading!
My fellow bookish friend over at is hosting a December challenge featuring ! It has been tough try to plan ahead for these posts because it is so tough to narrow all of lists to ONLY 10, it’s damn right near impossible. But I did the best that I could and can’t wait to share with all of you until the end of the year.
Today’s prompt is Best of the Best! Okay, I know I’ve said this with every list, but this one was probably the toughest to narrow down to just 10. I have like 70ish on my list … I suck at updating my Goodreads list as I’m reading. I took some liberties and counted a couple series as one *shhhhh*.

The Beautiful Hearts Duet – Emma Scott

The Beautiful Hearts Duet was what had me loving every single word she puts down on a page. If you read this duet and know the why’s of the reason she wrote these books, you can’t help but curl up into a ball and be a blubbering mess. I can’t recommend this author and duet enough, it’s an absolutely heart-wrenching and emotional story.

Gosh, just read the damn novella, you won’t regret it! And I think it’s major skills when an author has the ability to write such a short story and have you eager for the rest of this series!

Long Shot – Kennedy Ryan

Definitely saving one of the bests for last! An author who writes about relevant issues and weaves effortlessly into an amazing romance. Long Shot is a painfully tough story to get through, but it’s all worth it for that HEA.
