If you’re a fan of Horde Kings of Dakkar, you’re in for a treat! This felt sooooo familiar, but we’re learning so many new things. And I just loved it all. One of my favorite things about Zoey’s writing is the absolute angst she brings to her stories. While it wasn’t as much of a gut punch as usual, you still feel every little sting that’s intended.
I was so curious to see how soon Sarkin would show his soft to Klara! I comment on when, but I was such a goner for him and just loved how he came around to her. And Klara gives it to him just as good. She has so much fire and was so fearless. I dare you to say she can’t do something because it’s an absolute sight to see her prove everyone wrong.
I am so excited for this series, Zoey spends the time to reintroduce us to the horde life and gives us the elthik, which if you loved the pyrokis, have no fear! Just more to love. I am ready for the next!
