2019 has been treating me so well with new-to-me authors that I absolutely love! Then Came You is my first read from the series and author, and I’m a complete fan. Not going to lie, I was a bit baffled by the low ratings because I loved everything about Aubrey and Grant’s story. Their story definitely packs in a bit of angst as these two work through their past and how they deal with tough situations before they try for a second chance.

When I got this book, I pretty much went in blind and I was quickly swept away into the story. I thought Meader did a great job keeping me hooked the entire time. We know that these two can debate for days since that’s what they constantly do in the courtroom. I’m a sucker for second chance romances and what they endured together completely tore me apart.

It was so evident that the love is still there between them even after a year of being divorced. One of the reasons I love second chance romances so much is because I love seeing the journey the two have to take to be together again. They had a lot to work through and it wasn’t going to be the easy, but they had so much growth not just personally, but together.

I’m definitely going to go back in this series and start from book 1. I loved this book and couple so much, and it has topped as one of my favorites for 2019! It was so emotionally charged and I wasn’t sure how my heart was going to weather through it.
