Review

Uhm, wow! I read The Hunt and The Uprising back to back, and I was completely hooked to the story and characters from the very beginning. With that being said, you should definitely read The Hunt prior to this one, it’ll definitely make your reading experience a whole lot better! And well this book isn’t a standalone.

We have Ella and Malachi’s story! And since I devoured The Hunt , I was rather eager to see what was to come to this rather interesting pair. I don’t even know where to start or what to say because it’s nearly impossible without spoiling the story at all. Liz just did a phenomenal job of creating this world with sooo many great characters to just be obsessed with.

They are seriously just a hot couple! Everything between them is electric and magnetic. It’s nearly impossible for them to stay away from one another. In The Hunt, I wasn’t completely on board with Malachi, he was rather immature in a lot of things, so I was eager to see some growth from him especially with the strained relationship he had with his brother, Severus. He’s definitely come a long way from then and I grew to love him by the end of this book.

Everything about Ella is fierce especially with the sisterly bond she has with Moira. There’s absolutely nothing that could separate those two. Their relationship was definitely one of my favorites (even though I have many) in this book. There’s just something unbreakable between these two and there’s so much love.

Like I mentioned earlier, Malachi won me over completely in The Uprising. Ella definitely got under his skin and there wasn’t a damn thing he wouldn’t do for Ella. He was at her beck and call, and he wasn’t going to let anyone or anything lay a finger on her. I love his alpha-ness and just every darn thing about him. Gahhhh, I love this guy … but not as much as Severus 😉

Sooooo yeah, get your hands on this one, highly recommend!
