Review
What a great start for R.C. Alvarez and her new Rapture series! I was completely intrigued by all the characters involved in this story and there were times when I found myself more interested in them than the main characters. Overall, a solid start to this series and I can’t wait to read the books to come.
Ramiel and Kyria couldn’t be more perfectly matched than they already are. I loved the bit of inner battle that Ramiel would have over Kyria. As much as he wants to stay away from her, he’s constantly being pulled in her direction and can’t exactly pin point what it is.
Kyria was definitely her own little mystery and throughout the book we’re learning what exactly she is. I loved her ferocity and tenacity towards her father and learning more of the truth about herself. She’s definitely no damsel in distress, but side by side with Ram, they definitely make a power couple.
I truly enjoyed Ram’s story as well as we’re going through each chapter, we’re learning so much about his past. And essentially why he is the broody archangel that he is.
Truly a great start with Alvarez’s debut book!
