Review
Another new to me author to add to my “must read more from” list! And Twisted Love had ALL the tropes, some that I love:
- enemies to lovers
- brother’s best friend
- he’s an absolute grump and doesn’t like anyone except Ava
- neighbors 😉
- “touch her and I’ll kill you” — is this a trope now?
- GROVELING, we love to see it!
I love a good enemies to lovers because getting to the groveling that’s inevitable is one of my favorite parts of the story. And Ava doesn’t make it easy for him … as she shouldn’t 😉 PLUS, for someone who was an absolute grump and yes, morally gray, we got to see the softer side of Alex. A side that is only for Ava, no one else.
I’m such a fan of Ana’s writing, I was thoroughly engaged the entire time. Definitely enjoyed this one and can’t wait for more from this series.
As the author noted, please check out her warnings for Ava and Alex’s story.
