So far, the Donner Bakery
series is killing it in the Smartypants universe. Baking Me Crazy
set the bar for these new sets of books in Penny Reid’s memorable universe. And I absolutely devoured Stud Muffin
. This was an absolute joy to read especially with a heroine that has been wronged in the worst way possible and was ready to make a comeback. She’s definitely a firecracker and I loved watching her personal journey to finding her happy.
And Cage is just a sight to devour as well. Loved his support for Tempest, immensely. He was seriously the best. Cage turned out to be a bit of a teddy bear, which was not what I expected from a former MMA fighter. So, I really liked getting to know his sweet and tender side.
I loved seeing Tempest’s personal journey, she has come such a long way. And I was a fan of her finding ways to deal with her anger instead of just seeking revenge, and well getting her self locked up all the dang time.
Stud Muffin is such a fun addition to this series, which is quickly turning out to be my favorite so far. I have the third book in my hands and I can’t wait to see what other delectable delights I’ll dream about devouring!
