I think we all need a best friend like Thuy in our lives. Her character was my absolute favorite thing in this book. She’s a bit of tough chick and the most loyal best friend there ever was.
Prose Before Bros
was another read by an author that’s completely new to me. When it comes to Drill, I honestly don’t have a lot recollection of him. Beard With Me
and Beard Necessities
have been my last reads of the Winstons within the past year. Since then, it has been a while since I’ve visited Green Valley. I think I need to do a re-read of the Winston Brothers
to jog my memory.
As far as the Iron Wraiths go, I’m so ready for this club to just unfold. I feel like it’ll happen eventually … hopefully during this series. As far as things go with Drill, he’s just so done with the club business and it shows even more when his sister returns along with her best friend.
For a motorcycle guy, Drill was an interesting character. Remember I don’t have a lot of knowledge of him, but from a first glance. He’s not all bad. I was super surprised that Thuy was pulled towards him because of her history. But I didn’t hate it.
I wanted a bit more romance between Thuy and Drill, but I was still happy with everything that happens between them. I’m beyond happy that Thuy is in Green Valley because she’s ready to make some much needed changes in the area.
This was definitely another enjoyable read from this series and we’re seeing more of Catfish in this. I’m about ready for his story especially since you can tell that club life is wearing on him. We’ve been getting all the hints and I need it now!
