And here we are with book 2 in this rockstar romance series by Sarah Darlington. I was pretty eager to start this one after reading the synopsis and getting a nice little introduction of these two in the previous book. There was definitely something missing that kept me from absolutely loving this book, but it’s still a great addition to the series.
John and Dani, these two are absolutely hot together. I liked that they thought they could keep things casual, but I’d say they fell for each other pretty quickly. But coming to accept those feelings was another story in itself.
Dani was all over the place for me, she was unpredictable and at times, I couldn’t keep up with her. And John is keeping this secret, which I thought wasn’t as big of a problem as it was.
I truly did adore these two, but their story just needed a little more of something. I’m still invested in this series, so bring on the next book.
