Now this is what I imagine a romantic comedy to be like. I’ve been struggle to find the definition of one since some books I’ve read have been said to be a rom-com, but they end up not feeling like one to me.
I can’t believe I haven’t read from this series yet, but you can bet that I’ll be going back to the beginning and just binge-ing all of it. Man Cuffed was such a delight to read!
From when they first met and everything that happened after, I loved every minute of their time together. Not only were these two just simply adorable, they had me laughing, constantly especially Meg.
I loved her character so dang much! She’s sweet, a bit sassy, and there’s so much more to her than what we see. There were a few times where I thought she was going to react a certain way, but she always flipped the script and did something else. And that’s why she was so perfect for Mac. She will always keep him guessing and I loved that it caught him off guard sometimes.
Mac is the copper that has his heart locked down tight. But the more he’s around Meg, she’s slowly opening his heart again. And that has Mac at all sorts of problems. I loved him too, he was like the guy that wanted to live a little, but constantly held himself back.
The chemistry was just off the charts with these two and I loved their little adventure towards love.
Such a great read by this author duo!
