I can’t recommend this series and author enough. Beautifully Broken Spirit
is book 3 in the Sutter Lake
series. It’s a standalone contemporary romance with a dash of suspense and every book has kept me hooked every single time.
In this one we have Jensen and Tuck’s story, a best friend’s to lovers AND brother’s best friend trope. It was tortuous being around these two and they nearly had me pulling my hair out. They could easily play as the roles of a married couple, but it was tough for them to cross any lines in fear of ruining their relationship.
As far as the characters goes in this series, I didn’t quite connect with these two like I did the others. Tuck and Jensen were both amazing, don’t get me wrong, but there was something that kept me from loving them.
The suspense in this series always keeps me going, I can’t get enough of it! And I loved seeing how great their friendship was.
Love this series so much and can’t wait for more!
