About Bad Intentions

Review
April and May have definitely been the month for new to me authors! The synopsis really drew me into Bad Intentions and I knew instantly that I wanted to be on board to read this one. Plus I’ve heard a lot of great things about Charleigh Rose, sooooooo I really didn’t need much convincing.
I was instantly hooked into this story, I’m quite the fan of two broken souls coming together. Not only do I love seeing their personal journey, but also the one that the hero and heroine take together.
Logan, I admired her character so much! For being 21 years old, she has been through so much and most of it not good at all. Absent parents, even worse that her mother is a junkie with no plans of ever getting clean. A relationship gone horribly wrong. Once she saw her opening, she took her younger brother and got out of dodge. All for the sake of a new beginning for the both of them.
Logan and her brother, Jess, are kindred with struggle. But they’re both strong and have survived. Even after they ran to live with their father, they continued to fight to have a better life. You couldn’t help, but root for them. It’s easy to tell that their lives could have gone down the wrong path very quickly, but Logan really stepped up as a parental figure. She’s absolutely amazing at it!
And then there’s the elusive yet sexy Dare. A man who keeps his circle small and his live extremely private. I loved the fact that Lo was unable to unravel him little by little. And boy, were those moments steamy. Besides that, we also witnessed a softer yet protective side of Dare. Truly a beautiful sight!
I definitely thought this would have been way more angsty, but I still loved it anyways. I’m a fan of Charleigh’s writing style, I found myself easily getting lost into the story. Totally bingeworthy since I read it in a few hours.
You’ve gained a new fan, Charleigh! And in true Malia fashion, yet another series that I’ve read out of order!
