About Baby Daddy

A hot and hilarious new standalone from New York Times bestseller Kendall Ryan.

We met in a trapped elevator.

Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.

I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?

At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.

After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.

But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.

This full-length standalone contains a hot, swoonworthy hero, lots of playful banter and some hot baby-making ! Enjoy.

Review

I’m a forever fan of Kendall Ryan especially with all the heat her reads pack! The synopis of this one is a bit out there, but they seemed to be good with it in the end 😉 With this very different premise, it made for a quick and cute read.

I don’t know what it is, but elevators in romance tend to bring some mighty interesting encounters. And that was definitely the case for Jenna and Emmett. Jenna wants nothing more than to be a mother and having no suitable partner, she decides to go the route of going to the sperm bank to make things happen. On her way there, she ends up stuck in an elevator with none other than Emmett and it’s nearly impossible for her to hide where she’s going because he knows what kind offices this building has. He offers himself as a donor, but he’s thinking something more hands on. Crazy huh? No stranger danger?!

With neither one of them wanting something serious, they come to an understanding and get things going along.

This definitely made for an interesting story, I’ve several other books with almost the same concept, but I’m still a fan of reading them. I did find it a little odd that Jenna was okay with the more hands on deal, but the chemistry and attraction are all there. But the deeper they get into this little ordeal, feelings get involved and it’s all becoming something more involved than they planned on. The heart wants what it wants, right? YEP!

In true Kendall Ryan fashion, extremely well written and a read you’ll enjoy!
