Review

Awk-weird is definitely the best word to describe the duo that are Tess and Cole. I’ll admit, there were many times where it was downright awkward between these and I was stunned on how to process sometimes. But I enjoyed this one, it turned out to be a cute read that had me chuckling the whole time.

It has been sooooo long since my last Avery Flynn read, which means I still need to go back and read Parental Guidance.

I loved the quirkiness of this read with the perfect amount of comedy. They go through a lot of hoops trying to navigate the feelings they have for another. Because it is not as simple as telling one another how they feel. These two were just not built that way and it adds an element to their relationship. It’s just simply them.

Yep, definitely an enjoyable read and one that kept me smiling. Can’t wait to read more from this series and I think it’s a bit overdue to dive back into Avery’s other books.

major thank you to the author for the complimentary copy in consideration for a review. this does not affect my opinion of the book or review.
