Review
Aurora Blazing is one of my highly-anticipated books for 2019! I’ll say that Polaris Rising was such an awesome book that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Bianca and Ian’s story. PR still tops out as my favorite in the series, but I still enjoyed AB.
Right from the beginning we’re thrusted back into this world. I’ve been dying to know more about Bianca and the path she now paving for herself. She’s an interesting character for sure, but I loved the strong bond that she has with her siblings. She will literally do ANYTHING for them and I think that speaks loads about her character.
Ian … he was an interesting character with his own set of skills. These two definitely have some history and I was dying to know more about it. I’ll have to admit, the conflict between these was a little bit underwhelming and I wished we had some of his POVs. I think that would have shown a bit understanding of why these two never happened years ago.
AB is a slow burn and I loved that Bianca took him on a little chase in the beginning. However, Ian is just too good at his job, he’ll find her anywhere! There were a few action-packed moments that’ll definitely leave you on the edge of your seat.
AB was a great addition to this series and one I definitely enjoyed. I craved more of Ian and Bianca together.
We got one more book to this series and I can’t wait!
