Things on my wishlist:
1. Start a new, awesome job
2. Create the perfect dating app
3. Stop dating douchebags
Things that actually happen:
1. Got a job in my dream tech company
2. Created a workplace dating app for said company
3. Was matched with Bennett, who happens to own the company and is also my brother’s best friend
They say when it rains, it pours, but this is some serious BS. It doesn’t help that Bennett was the man I had my last one night stand with. It definitely doesn’t help that he seems to want me just as much as I want him. The issue is, he won’t do anything about it, but then we’re forced to attend a tech conference in Vegas and I think it may just be what I need to turn this thing around.
New goal: get my brother’s best friend out of my system by all means necessary.

The Trouble With Love Review
It’s always a good day when Claire Contreras gives us another one of her books to read, I can simply never get enough of them. The Trouble With Love is a sweet and sexy read that I think many can enjoy. With many of her previous books being emotionally-charged, this one was a bit on the lighter side, which I didn’t mind at all.
The more we get to know Morgan, I felt like I connected a lot more with Bennett. These two have a bit of a past and Morgan is still dealing with the issues she has with her mom. Her relationship with her mother isn’t the greatest and it’s evident that Morgan is still trying to weather through all of it. And it helps you understand why she is the way she is.
With that being said, I was rooting for both Bennett and Morgan. There were times that I felt like Morgan reacted and judged way too quickly when it came to Bennett, but he’s no saint. However, he makes darn near impossible to ever be mad at him. They find themselves in a bit of a situation and I understood where both sides were coming from, I just wasn’t sure how I’d actually feel in that moment.
I loved them together and they’re constantly fighting the attraction because they didn’t want to cross that line of professionalism. I truly enjoyed this one, but something was off for me and to be honest, I can’t quite pinpoint what it is. It was so great to see Presley and Nathan from The Consequences of Falling in Love pop up in this one, but there were times where I wasn’t sure if the others had their books or not.
Other than that, if you’re looking for a light, cute and sexy read, look no further than this one!
