For probably over a decade (or close to it), I’ve been running two blogs, a personal (lifestyle & adventure) and this book blog. This year I decided to shut down my personal blog since I haven’t been posting on there for well over a year.

I have no idea how the transition is going to go or if it’s even a good call. But when it comes to sharing some bits and pieces of my life, I can’t completely let it go. So from here on out, I think I’ll be trying it out for the next few months and see how it goes. You’ll definitely know it’s a non-bookish post from the blog title (not so bookish) and you can feel free to skip it over and head to the most recent bookish post. I know many aren’t interested in everyone’s real-life since many of us resort to books to escape reality sometimes. I will not be offended in any way, I’m all for reading what you want to read.

Romance Schmomance will still very much be bookish heavy since this book blog and romance books are my escape, so don’t you worry!

Hope everyone has the best week ever!

  1. It’s hard to separate books from lifestyles because I feel that they are a big part of our daily lives and there is a lot of overlap in content. I’ve decided to make my instagram more lifestyle than bookstagram to meet that need. I look forward to your blog changes!

    1. It really is. I was just wasting money keeping my personal blog open and not updating it. I used it a lot for travel posts, but haven’t been doing much of that. I’m hoping to find a good balance!
