Hello, hello. It has been a while and I guess I'l Hello, hello.

It has been a while and I guess I'll mosey on back to bookstagram. I mean I wasn't completely gone as some of you saw 😅 opinions were shared!

Last week, I flew out to visit family with my littles and it's been 2 years since we've all been together. I finally got to meet my niece and nephew and they got to meet my little one that was born last year. We have no idea when we'll all be in one place again, but it was such an amazing and much needed trip.

AND, we managed to get some fam pics done and I took advantage to frolic in the woods. 😂

I'm reading again (thank goodness) not as much as I used to, but I'm just happy to be interested in something.

Hope everyone is doing well 💐
/what is a genre or sub-genre you've wanted to rea /what is a genre or sub-genre you've wanted to read more from this year?

YA Fantasy is definitely one for me, I actually started reading more of it last year. And I quite enjoy it!

Quick shoutout and thank you to @authorcaseybond & @bookofmatchesmedia for the ARC of When Wishes Bleed!

If you have KU, you can check it out there, but is also on sale this month for .99 ✨ I’ve added the book link in my bio as well.

When Wishes Bleed
Book 1 in When Wishes Bleed series

The upheaval in my life began the moment a prince stumbled into my house and asked me to read his fortune. Any other night, I might have made an excuse to get him to leave, but this was no normal visit. My fingers prickled to touch him. So, I granted his request by handing him a single wishbone. When he snapped it, the wish … bled.

Hearing me suck in a shocked breath, he asked what it meant. Such an ominous omen could only mean one thing: his death was imminent. Fate revealed that he wouldn’t die of natural causes. Someone wanted him dead. Stunned by the revelation, the man I now knew as Prince Tauren disappeared into a night I feared he wouldn’t survive.

The following day, I received an invitation to the castle. While it seemed the prince believed I could intervene and uncover who was plotting his death, his motives didn’t stop there. I was being summoned to join twelve other women in vying for the opportunity to be his wife and future queen. Going could mean jeopardizing my plans to reclaim my heritage and resurrect the House of Fate. But staying would guarantee Tauren’s death, and the blood of his wish would be on my hands.

When Wishes Bleed is a young adult fantasy romance perfect for fans of Adrienne Young, Cora Carmack and Kiera Cass.

Hunt the Stars, hands down. Just might be my favorite by Jessie and I'm so excited for the rest of the series. I quickly fell in love with the rest of characters.

Thank you to @harpervoyagerus for this epic #bookmail ❤️
/which book or series will you never stop talking /which book or series will you never stop talking about?

This one, hands down.

Okay, mini review or whatever. I rarely do reviews on here, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on my venture of reading Addicted and Calloway Sisters by Krista & Becca Ritchie.

@culturedbaddiesread was my major push to finally start this series. They had a readalong and I tried to stick to their schedule, but have zoomed past.

This book is tough to get through, but I loved it. Wholeheartedly. Was it my favorite, no.

When I looked at reviews, the main thing I saw was that many did not love Lily. I totally understand, but you have two characters that are addicts and have been enabling each other for years. There's not many things to not like about that.

But you have to remember this is exactly why the book was written the way it was. It's a series, there's more to get through. More to their story because this is not an easy one. Now that I'm reading Thrive, they have come a significantly long way since Addicted to You.

I didn't look at this book as a romance, but more about their addiction. Because a huge battle they have is wondering if they love one another more than their addiction. Like can you understand that? And just how heartbreaking it is to even think about that question?!

I have more to say, but I'll slowly get my reviews up on the blog.

This series is untouchable and honestly might be one of my favorites, ever.

Recommended Reading Order & my ratings so far.
