I am quite tired. A newborn and parenting two littles, it’s next level for me, but we’re managing. It’s been 3 weeks since baby 2 graced us with his presence.

And my postpartum belly is popping in and saying hello 👋 I will say recovery this time around has been great. The aftercare I received was the absolute best and the support I have at home has been solid. The real test is when my parents head back home. Not mentally ready for that ...

I tend to read slower when it comes to paperbacks since I mostly read at night. A few of these were sent to me and some are recs. Now that I don’t have an ARC filled reading schedule, I have more time to read books I’ve been wanting to get to.

Thankfully I've been able to get a decent amount of reading done. It's mainly whenever I have to feed baby 2. I've had to throw a couple of monthly challenges out the window, which is what I kind of expected.

I've nearly read through my recent ARCs list and I can finally dive back into other books I had to push aside. Like this #bookmail, I started it about a week ago and was hooked. A small town, second chance and single parent romance. Tropes I absolutely love!

Thought I'd pop in real quick. Baby 2 arrived a little over a week ago, 2 weeks before his due date. So life has been busy, trying to get as much sleep as possible and overall focusing on my recovery. It's tough not to push myself too hard because I'm in the 'need to get things done' mode.
▪
Thankfully I have a lot of help especially on the days when I really just need to lay down and relax. I've been able to get some reading in, which has been the absolute best. I'm just happy that I can I focus a little to get lost in books 😊

Soooo, this may be my last post for some time. I'm being realistic for February since I'll have my hands full with baby 2 and little one. With kids, routines are a must and this will be a huge transition for everyone. For now, I'm just going to take it one day at a time. I'll still pop in my stories and people's DMs, that's where I'm at the most, anyways.

I had all the intention of taking photos in advance, but I'm at that point where everything's becoming a bit too much. I'm just very uncomfortable and so very tired. We're almost there though!
