What an enjoyable read this turned out to be! It was a quick, sexy and light read. I really loved the concept of Fortunate Encounters, which added a bit of comedy to this fun read.
Fortunate Encounters was a first time read from Caterina Passarelli and it won’t be my last. Loved the premise so much, it was so damn comical. And I don’t know when the last time I read a book with the same kind of premise, but can we just have more?! But I got to say, dating is tough, people. And even though I don’t have personal experience with just meeting up with blind dates somewhere, I can only imagine not only the anxiety but the possibility of talking to the wrong person. And that was the beginning of Clark and Juliette’s story.
Despite their little mishap, the storyline was fairly simple. With neither one of them unable to get each other out of their minds and the attraction was instant even though they didn’t exactly want to pursue it more, at first.
I thought this a great start to this series and I definitely look forwarding to reading more of the books to come.
