Review
Let me start off with Leopardess and Dragon! Just imagine them together and you get quite the explosion, but in a good way. I sure did enjoy this book and all the characters, I was completely hooked the entire time. But was rather frustrated with Miss Shay and her decisions; ‘run’ should be her middle name!
Drake is not only protecting Shay, but he wants her! And to claim her as his mate. Shay is betrothed to marry Dimitri, who is someone that all of you will not like. Even her parents are set with Shay’s arranged marriage, which is a bit of an odd notion in Shay’s book! Shay has no desire to be with Dimitri, but has her eyes set on Drake. Their first night togther will alter their lives and you’ll get to witness the run and chase between these two. Their chemistry is off the charts and you wonder if Drake will be able to tame the stubborn Leopard.
As stubborn as Shay was, I definitely understood her thought process. She was looking out for herself and wanted the freedom to make her own decisions especially when it came to who she was going to marry. She’s definitely not a girl you can tie down, she’s got claws and isn’t afraid to use them.
Drake, Drake, Drake; he’s definitely the alpha male and not very happy when he wakes after Shay swiftly left him in bed after a night of passion. You have one very pissed of dragon, who would probably burn through anyone and everyone to find Shay. We shoot forward to five months later and boy was I excited for them to meet again!
I was completely intrigued the entire time and I loved the suspenseful ride it took us on! It’s actually tough to write this review because there’s so much I want to say. It’s a great mix of paranormal and fantasy, so I’m sure it’ll satisfy your needs for that genre. There’s a huge element to this story that makes their ride much more of a crazier one. And you’ll love the ending, so yes there is very much a HEA.
I hope this is a series because I want more of Drake and Shay!
