Hello, 2023! This blog post is way overdue, but I’ve been going through some major transitions, so let’s recap things.
- announced that we were expecting baby #3, he’s happy and healthy.
- moving overseas
With those being the biggest things, we had to wait for the arrival of baby before we could make the big move. Now that the new year is here, we’re moved and working through yet another transition. A major timezone shift, getting all the littles adjusted and trying to get settled. We’ve been hitting the ground running since we arrived. And I’m still very much trying to catch up on sleep and NOT waking up at 4 in the morning.
Also, we’re living in the future since we’re about a day ahead of our family and friends. Getting the time zones down has been a bit of a feat, so apologies if I’m replying extremely early in the morning. I’ll figure it out eventually.
I wrapped up the year reading 306 books, across 74,350 pages and 451.85 hours as StoryGraph puts it. A lot of worlds I got lost in, discovered so many great new to me authors, and added quite a few to my top fave lists.
Overall, it wasn’t too bad of a reading year and I’m keeping my expectations low for the new year. I’m hoping to spend more time on my blog in 2023, so I’ll be seeing all of you very soon!
